2. If you are a fan of Metallica, or even just a fan of KEA for that matter, get this. It is expensive for sure, but I feel well worth the heavy price tag. There aren’t, and won’t be (with the exception of the other Metallica box sets in this series), many albums in metal history that are given such a luxurious and expansive, fan-oriented /5(1).

4. Dec 11,  · I honestly don't know the source used for recent Black Album vinyl record pressings. My guess would be that newer pressings have different mastering source. I bought a Vertigo Swirl double LP to replace this box set I am not too pleased with the sound quality.
