  3. Subroc's mission: Subroc's only solo joint on the album, but he makes it count. He mainly speaks about being a barber, and mentions cutting MC Serch's hair for the cover of 3rd bass's "The Cactus album" which led him to become cocky with his skills, as well as a line about him using a pair of clippers he knew were broken, and shaving half of some guys wooly dome off.5/5(20).

  7. The albums opens with "Mr. Hood At Piocalle Jewelry" which is basically a 2 minute skit tied in with a 1 minute song. Subroc is having some back and forth dialogue with Mr. Hood, Mr. Hoods character being audio bytes from some old radio show I assume. It's a neat gimmick that goes on a lot throughout the album.
  8. Just an amazing, funny, smart rap album from 3 young guys. Mr. Hood is as good now as it was when I purchased it on cassette in It's *totally* worth picking up this album in its entirety as opposed to the "best of" K.M.D. album, which doesn't have all the tracks and misses the "original flow" of the album from song to song.5/5(13).
